[SOLVED] Monitor res not working

I just built a new pc. The thing is that I couldn’t wait to start it up and built it without the gpu because it hadn’t arrived. When the gpu arrived I slotted it in and downloaded drivers for it. It was working fine yesterday but when I booted it up today the screen had some green and pink fragments on it for a couple of seconds and when I booted up it only let me go up to 1024x768 even though I have 1440p monitor I tried to change it in nvidia control panel but it wouldn’t run. I tried to fix it myself but to no avail. My build is mai b360 Pro vdh i5 8600 RTX 2070 and 16gb of 2400mhz ram

You're integrated graphics most likely doesn't go up to 1440p, try 1080p ( 1920 x 1080 )
