Monitor reviews???

Just started a new build after being away from the PC world for a few years. I am having the hardest time figuring out what monitors are now the best around for gaming. Plenty of info on motherboards, graphic cards, memory and hds..but nothing on Displays.. Can anyone point me to some newer reviews on lcd displays?

There doesnt seem to be much talk about them on here... Looking to go between 21 to 27 inches.. very important that the display works well on games as it will be its main course.

customer reviews are what i go by and newegg.com is the king of that. for gaming just make sure its under 5ms refresh, i personally keep it under 2ms. most everyone can notice ghosting when over 5 though.
but i guess ill throw you a bone.

I have an Asus VH236 23" from Newegg for $160.00 and love it! I saw an Asus 24" on there the other day for $170.00.
Like farrengottu says, read the reviews.
