Monitor Risers for PCs?

Hello all,

I am currently finalising the details of my new build and I have encountered a problem. I can't put my new computer on my desk as there isn't enough room so I was going to put it on the floor next to my desk. I was planning on buying a monitor riser so my computer wouldn't be directly on the carpet but none of the ones I can find are the right size for my case. Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this issue? My case will be a Corsair 780T.

Thanks!

You could get 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/Construction-Fashionable-Adjustable-Non-Skid-Computer/dp/B075BRNDTR/

Or, you could place a board on the carpet. It really doesn't take much to keep directly off the carpet.

How thick would the piece of wood have to be? I have my old keyboard tray from my desk which I took off it several months ago. It's about 2cm or 0.8 inches thick and it's just a flat piece of wood. I could use that if it's appropriate.

Should be fine. Really just need a hard, stable surface and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for recommending our product! Unfortunately though, even our largest PC mount isn't quite big enough for the Corsair 780T. :(
