Monitor Risers for PCs?

Hello all,

I am currently finalising the details of my new build and I have encountered a problem. I can't put my new computer on my desk as there isn't enough room so I was going to put it on the floor next to my desk. I was planning on buying a monitor riser so my computer wouldn't be directly on the carpet but none of the ones I can find are the right size for my case. Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this issue? My case will be a Corsair 780T.

put a piece of wood under your desk and place your tower on that

The Corsair 780T stands up off the floor pretty high. Honestly I would just put the case on the floor. You will also notice less fan noise etc with it being a little farther away.

You might think about a PC mount if you really want it up off the floor.

Or, you could place a board on the carpet. It really doesn't take much to keep directly off the carpet.

Could I use furniture risers such as the ones below? My only issue is with how my room is orientated. There is only about 15 inches between my desk and my wardrobe, so I can't really use two stands side by side.

I wouldn't those are going to be unstable.

it should be alright.
But as someone said, piece of wood is already good enough

How thick would the piece of wood have to be? I have my old keyboard tray from my desk which I took off it several months ago. It's about 2cm or 0.8 inches thick and it's just a flat piece of wood. I could use that if it's appropriate.

Should be fine. Really just need a hard, stable surface and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for recommending our product! Unfortunately though, even our largest PC mount isn't quite big enough for the Corsair 780T.
