Hello everybody.
My monitor don't show image when its resolution is 1024x768. With other resolutions, it works perfectly. For example, if i want to install Win 8 i cannot see the installation process because the resolution during the installation is 1024 x 768. That should not be happen, I'm right?
I need help. Thanks.

your monitor is only vga capable! what gpu do you have? if you have a vga cable connected through dvi adapter, make sure you have it plugged into your gpu's dvi i and try another adapter. if you are using a vga cable directy to your mobo/gpu , try another cable!

I have an APU, AMD A6 6600k. That's my GPU and I'm using a VGA cable directy to the mobo/gpu. I'll try with another cable but yesterday I connected another monitor using the same cable and it showed images that I couldn't see with mine.

Thanks chris987 for your answers.
I have Win7 for operating system and, for example, the resolution of the screen which show you that Win7 is starting up, before OS welcome you, is 1024 x 768 and I've never seen it in this monitor but when the OS change the resolution to 1366 x 768, I can see the image in the monitor.
Also, I don't know how to install with native resolution. If you know how to force the system for installing with that resolution, please tell me.
