Monitor says no hdmi signal suddenly

I just bought a new pc a few days ago
Was playing mad max yesterday and suddenly the monitor said no hdmi signal
Had to force shut down and restart
Same thing happened again but I wasn't doing anything
The pc booted up to Windows and the same thing happened again
The monitor HDMI cable is connected to the gpu

Update your drivers if you have not already. Check to see if your graphics card is seated properly also try different PCI slots on your motherboard.
