Question Monitor screen goes black but power button says it's on ?

I got an old LG Flatron W2241S from a friend as a gift, but he dosent know if it works. So i plugged it in my test PC and when i turn it on it has a screen after few seconds the screen goes black but the button says its on. I tried to lower the resolution and the color bit, but it didnt work, all tho, i saw when i apply the settings the screen turns on again and goes black after few seconds, again.
Can i fix it somehow or is it dead?

Cables can be unplugged normally or port can be broken, check it and try to find problem, if there aren't problems then it will be harder to find why is running on black screen

I changed like 5 different cables and it dont work. I even opend the back of the monitor i didnt see any clear damage on the capacitor (im in electrotecnichs school btw) so im trying to figure out if i can fix it somehow without buying a new PCB for it.

Maybe contacts are broken?

Well they dont look broken tbh
