Question Monitor screen going black while entering game. PC still on

This is my first PC build and once I got it up and running I installed Overwatch and Rainbow six. Whenever I enter the games the monitor makes a clicking noise and the screen goes black. The monitor stays on though and so does the PC. The screen will go from black to normal a couple times before staying black. I don't know what the cause of the problem is. I checked all my driver's to make sure they were good and updated windows. The parts in this build are also pretty high end so I really have no idea what is happening.

Motherboard: Asus TUF X570 pro (Wi-Fi)
GPU: Radeon RX 5700XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: Corsair vengeance LPX 16 GB 3200

What PSU did you have?

Did you do the clean OS install?

I have a 80+ bronze cxm semi-modular power supply with 650 watts of voltage and I'm pretty sure I did a clean OS install
