Hey everyone,
I'm about to upgrade my graphics card to a RTX 2070 Super and I plan on buying a new monitor as well. But, I'm kind of stuck on what would give me the best combination of performance and quality. Right now I'm stuck between a 34 inch ultra wide monitor @1080p, WITHOUT gsync (144hz). And a 32 inch ultrawide 1440p WITH gsync (144hz). My CPU is the i7 3770k (I know it's a bit old) and 16gb of ddr3 ram. I know the higher resolution the more is demanded from your gpu, and the less intense the image, more is used from cpu. So what would be my best option for maxing out most games and still be able to get 70+ fps? Would the 1440p be too much for that to happen?
