My windows and Nvidia control panel settings are showing my resolution is set to 1920x1080 however, it is actually displayed in 1728x972

this is gotten from This Site

I have an Acer 1080P monitor and a GTX 750TI.

I have done everything I can think of at this point, and it has not fixed the issue. Hopefully someone more astute than me can provide some insight or a fix. Thanks.

If your nvidia control panel shows the resolution as 1920 x 1080, I would think that is the correct resolution. I did not want to click on your blind link, so I don't know what to say about that. What is the native resolution of your monitor? How is it connected to the GPU?

The link is http://whatismyscreenresolution.com/ it checks your screen resolution. Yes, Nvidia does say that. However, I can tell it is not in 1080P and also a lot of games are mis-configured because of it ( not registering the position of my mouse correctly)

The monitor is a 1080P 1920x1080 supporting 60 Hz Acer brand monitor and it's connected via DVI.

OK I clicked on your link and it said my screen resolution is 1536 x 864. I am actually at 1280 x 1024 which is the native resolution for the monitor. Perhaps having 2 monitors connected makes the software give an incorrect resolution.

Edit: Correction, my main monitor is 1920 x 1080. It is my second monitor (Dell) which is 1280 x 1024.

I've used multiple sites and all have given me 1728x972 so it's not a one-off issue with the site. I also only have a single monitor, so I don't think that issue would extend to me. My friend with dual monitors has tried the site and has gotten 1920x1080 though.

I don't know what to say. Your resolution numbers per the site you linked are exactly 90% of the Nvidia control panel numbers. When I did the math on my numbers one was exactly 80%, and the other was like 84.xxx?.
