Monitor short circuited!

When I plug the CRT monitor power cable, it doesn't turned on then the power button short circuited (sparked). Is my monitor damaged or still okay? I was fear to turn on the CRT monitor. My monitor is LG 505G

You need to have the monitor fixed or replaced; it could be dangerous to use that power button!
