Hey everyone,

So I just built my very first gaming pc today, turned it on with power button and everything seemed to work fine in the PC; video card fans were spinning and it was lighting up, case fans and CPU fans were spinning, etc ..

But then when I turn on the monitor is says no signal for about 3 seconds then goes black. I had my HDMI and VGA cables connected from the monitor to the PC, then decided to disconnect VGA cables but nothing helped. I'm getting quite anxious and am pretty sure that everything in the PC is working.

Specs:

Acer K242HL LCD Monitor (New)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 (New)
Ryzen 5 1600 w/ Wraith Cooler
Corsair VS550 Semi Modular PSU
Toshiba 2TB SSD
Adata DDR4-2666 8GB RAM
B350 Tomahawk Motherboard

I've taken out the memory, still no change, cleaned it a bit, still no change.

I've looked at the video card and see nothing alarming (I also don't suspect any internal damage).

My motherboard looks fine, cant see any damage, backplate is fine, etc...

I hope nothing is wrong as this build was about £1000 and will be very disappointed.

I've plugged in HDMI cable properly both into the PC and monitor.

If anyone could help I would be very thankful.
