Ok it happened just a few minutes ago, I powered up my pc, and when the Nvidia GPU copyright and stuff statement showed up, I noticed that my screen was slightly tearing/getting distorted in places. It didn't happen again, until the pc was completely booted up and I was playing Surgeon Simulator. My screen again got slight tears all over it kinda like static and to check it, I hit minimize, opened up GPU-Z and everything seemed to be normal. The tears were still there and then all of a sudden, my monitor turned off! I couldn't turn it back on. Everything else was still running and I could hear the game running in the background. From this I can say that it wasn't my GPU or the game. I turned off the pc, replugged all the cables leading to my monitor and it is working for me right now. I'm still not sure if the problem is fixed though. It might come back again and I might not be able to boot my pc. Then i'll have to check this thread for help, maybe from my phone or my friend's pc :'( So please suggest anything you think might be causing this.
P.S. My monitor is Samsung B1930.
