Hello at the moment I have an old 23,8 ASUS ML239H and I'd like to buy a new monitor, like the new lg 27GL850...I'm around 60-62 cm from the monitor (or like 23-24'') and I'm concerning that the 27'' monitor will be too close...Maybe for that distance is it better a AOC 24G2 Full hd 24'' ? I' don't have a huge desk and I don't want to buy something to regreet it (aka eye strain/too close)

Solution
Oh jeeez! 24" from a 32" monitor?! No thanks!

I sit arms reach (28"-30") from my monitor and I tried both a 27" and 32" and settled on the 27. For me, 32 was just too much head/ eye movement.

So long as you don't go beyond ergonomic standards you shouldn't be worried about the distance you're viewing a monitor from. To add, just make sure that you've tweaked the display to suit your eyes and that you've got ample lighting in front and behind the monitor(like a white/neutral wall) to help with overall visual enjoyment.
