I've got an ASUS PG279Q monitor. I cleaned it using a brand new microfiber cloth that was moistened with distilled water. It left streaks all over my monitor that I did not have before. Image below.

Does anyone have suggestions for addressing this? More distilled water? A cleaning solution that is safe and alcohol-free?

Thank you.

Edit to Describe What Worked

Someone correctly suggested that the microfiber cloth I used was dirty, even if it was brand new. I ordered a batch of new microfiber cloths on Amazon, washed them with a no-scent, no-softener detergent, and then used some more distilled water. The monitor came out great.

They do make cleaning products specifically for monitors. Here is a link to one such item:

Falcon DSCT Premoistened Monitor Cleaning Wipes

I hope this helps.
