Monitor stopped working

Hi,
I have Samsung curved monitor (LCD) and it's just stopped working in 1 minute when i watched a movie.

I tried to connect it to my notebook and notebook is detecting it but not displaying a screen. When im turning off a monitor, a display is just black. When im connecting it, is still black but more lighter. What can i do? Monitor is connected by HDMI and sound is working.

If you look carefully at at angle, can you make out an image of sorts? It's possible that it's the backlight portion that's burned out; in which case you're looking at buying another monitor.

Ok, so it looks to be the exact opposite. It's the backlight that's working, but no signal is being sent to the monitor, or being processed by it.

Validate that the cable going to the back of the monitor is secure. It's possible that the logic board inside the monitor is faulty as well 🙁

Try unplugging AC power from the back of the monitor - Give it five minutes, then reconnect and try again.

I tested with other HDMI cable too - notebook is detecting but not displaying. Cable is probably working because sound is good. Menu isn't display too.

EDIT: i unplugged AC power too before. For like 10-15 mins. Still nothing.

I'm thinking its defective and time to be replaced.
