Hi

As the line above says, when turning on my pc, monitor comes on and can see the motherboard signature when booting (can get in to bios if needs be) but when I’m about to get to the logon screen my monitor cuts off and the light keeps blinking like it’s trying to receive a signal. It works as long as i turn on my monitor after the computer has fully booted.
In games it’s hit or miss if my monitor will stay on while the game starts to run, which can get really annoying as I’m forced to restart my PC. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or knows how to fix? Thanks!

Drivers and everything are up to date

Custom PC
MSI g45 gaming z87
GTX 970 MSI
Hannspree monitor – 1440 x 900 75 Hz (Tried at 60 but makes it worse)

Hi

I have resolved this issue!!! After many different things tried it turns out my motherboard does not like my 1440 x 900 resolution. I tried 2 different monitors both with 16:9 ratio and they both worked perfectly. So I have set my monitor to 720p for now (which is not a native resolution) but it does work. Time to upgrade my monitor then I guess.

Either that or my monitor is going but it seems to be working now

Thanks for the help!

Kind regards
