Monitor Suggestions

Hey, I've been looking for a 1920x1200, 24", 8 bit monitor for up to $450, though a bit cheaper is preferable. My primary usages are internet/Word/School Work, gaming, and Computer Aided Design work. While the specs I provided are specific, I am willing to look at other models if the reasoning is compelling.
After some research, I am considering the HP ZR24W, the Dell U2412M, and this Samsung one: http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/monitors/LS24CBUAFY/ZA
This past summer I borrowed the HP model, and quite liked it. Coupled with a fairly cheap price (I've found it for ~$350), it is currently the front-runner. Any suggestions of better or different options are very much appreciate!d.

ASUS VG236H

Anyway, for that price it will be hard to find a bad monitor i think.
