Question Monitor switches between digital and analog while gaming

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 2243BWX connected with a DVI cable. When I'm busy playing Mortal Kombat 11 or Elder Scrolls Online, and most recently, Lust for Darkness, my screen will go black and start switching between analog and digital for a few seconds, then go completely black. All I can do then is restart. My graphics card drivers are up to date, (GTX 1060 6GB) I even downloaded drivers for the screen, I've played around with settings in Nvidia GeForce Experience, no luck. Please help!!!

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes and warnings that correspond with the times that the problem begins.
