monitor that only takes 1 dvi port

so I got a card GT 630 which features
2 dvi ports
and I also got a motherboard that features
1 VGA port
i alredy have VGA port and dvi port
hooked up
so can I buy a monitor that only needs
to be hooked up with 1 dvi port

Any monitor with multiple inputs must have only one of them hooked up.

That has nothing to do with needing two connections to same monitor. As matter of fact that could have screwed it up. Is that second monitor you are trying to hook up or is it only one ?

Only one but i I have hokked up
2 ports alredy to first monitor I only have dvi port left so.can I hooj up.seccond monitor?

There should be an "input" or "source" button on the monitor that changes what input device you have plugged into it is currently displayed.
No monitor or tv in existence needs all of it's inputs plugged in to work.
If your computer has a GPU in it, it's likely the motherboard's VGA connection is disabled.
