Monitor too bright at lowest setting

Hello. I have bought an AOC G2460V 24'' Freesync monitor and I use for work and gaming. It's nice and all but hurts my eyes jsut by looking at the screen. The monitor is still very bright even though I set the brightness setting to 0 with the built in OSD of the monitor. There are no setting to change the brightness of the monitor in the control panel.
So is it normal that my monitor is still very bright when it's brightness is set to 0, or is there a problem and what can I do about it?

if you use win 10 there is a settings for monitor for night time it will lower brightness .

I tried it but it only made the screen color warmer. It sadly did not lwoer the brightness at all

did you try to reset it to factory settings and if that does not work and still under warrranty ask rma for this .
