Monitor turning into power save mode on boot up after geforce driver update

*IN NEED OF HELP PLEASE*

After i updated my drivers to play Battlefied 3, i restarted my computer after the installation of the latest drivers, but when ever i boot it up the monitor goes into power save mode on regular start up, but i can get in on the Safe mode and networking. The screen is also zoomed in for some reason like the drivers didnt get installed correctly. I updated the Geforce gt 520 to the newest version.. is it to old to get updated to that version? Also in device manager it says the driver version is 9.18.13.3788 and the driver date is 5/19/2014. Please help.. Thanks..

I Did a system restore but can i play battlefield 3 without updated drivers, because i can with every other game, and why did that happen?
