Monitor turns off and on when Gsync is on

Hey all,

I've recently purchased a AGON AG271QG.

I'm running it on a PC with a GTX 980, and I do have another 27inch non-Gsync monitor that is dual screened.

Recently I tried to run a game on full screen, with Gsync on, for some reason the monitor shuts off for a few seconds and comes back on.

This happens to Blizzard games and Doom, it doesn't happen when Gsync is turned off.

This now even happens when games are full screen borderless.

Is this a configuration issue or a faulty monitor?
