Question Monitor turns ON and OFF randomly

I have a Dell D2015H Monitor. Almost 4-5 years old. But since about a month it is having a problem where it just turns OFF and suddenly ON, this happens pretty randomly. First it was just 1-2 on-off cycle per half an hour, but has increased gradually. But today, it was not powering ON. Tried changing the cables, power socket. But no success. After getting tired, I kept it ON and after 5 minutes it got powered ON. After turning ON again the on-off cycle continued, but this time it was way faster. Is there a solution? Not in a position of buying a new monitor and with online college, I need this to be fixed. It would be great if someone can help. I went to a local repair shop and the guy says that some "logic" board is faulty and needs to be replaced. Is that true? Because, the whole monitor is turning off, if there was some problem with the "logic" board then there might be some problems with the picture also. If anyone has knowledge in this area, it would be helpful.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Out of curiosity, does the monitor exhibit the same issue when it's plugged into another(a donor) system/laptop?

Outside of finding a shop nearby that can help repair the power input or even the entire display(which is the same as buying a brand new monitor) you have no other option BUT to buy a new monitor.

Yes, happens with all devices. Tried on a PC, Laptop, PS3. Even when no video input is provided it behaves the same.

I have given it to a repair store but he is telling me to replace the whole logic board (I guess he's referring to motherboard). But I am little skeptical about that, because as per my knowledge it might be something with the power supply unit. I tried talking with him about this, but he says it's logic board which is faulty. I have no other option then believing him.
