I just built a PC, all the fans are turning and the motherboard lights and video card lights turn on, but the monitor displays no signal even with the VGA, DVI, or HDMI is plugged in.

I personally installed the hardware... and took it to Geek Squad in Best Buy. They spent around 10 minutes looking at the hardware, then told me it was in the right place, and then told me for a more in-depth analysis it would be $200 a yr which I passed over.

I began to read the threads and solutions for an unresponsive monitor, and diligently went over the checklist of 20 items to check and make sure correct: checking cpu placement, video card plugins to the psu, and making sure all power supply cords and video card are connected, etc.

The case and hardware boots up fine, with the optic drive beeping and the motherboard lighting up accordingly as well as the fans running. The monitor however displays "No Signal" after running through the DVI, VGA, and HDMI signals.

My specs are as is:

Alrighty, list of methods I have tried

1. Booting up with 1 stick of RAM
2. Checking cpu to see if installed correctly
3.Check cpu socket/power connectors
4.Check RAM slots
5.Check for bent pins in cpu
6.Check CPU cooler
7. Tie loose wires and restrain
8. Dispel static electricity
9. Correctly tighten cpu fan
10. Read motherboard manual diligently for any mistakes or mishaps
