Hey guys, I'm looking for a monitor bigger than 26" and has to be reasonably good for gaming. Preferably higher than 60hz. I know my price range isn't leaving me many options, but hopefuly you blokes can find something!

Specs I'm after for $400ish
- Higher than 60hz
- 5ms GtG or quicker
- minimum 1920x1080 (would LOVE higher though)
- great colour
- 26inches or bigger!

Keep in mind, I'm paying in Australian, if that helps!

Thanks guys muchly appreciated!

I highly recommend if you are wanting a 26" screen or bigger to never get a 1080p screen. The pixel density would be so bad that you'd hate yourself for buying one. Go with minimum 2560 x 1440 monitor to increase the pixel density. Get an IPS display over the TN panels for better viewing angles and colour accuracy. Best way to shop for a monitor is to actually go out to a store and look at some because you'll never know how it truly looks until you see it in person.

I would recommend an IPS panel over a TN panel because you cannot really see the differences in input lag 1-5ms and an IPS monitor colours and viewing angles would be so much better

Yes, you're right but i have that ASUS monitor and it has REALLY good colors, maybe not so good viewing angles but viewing angles aren't that important for me. =)

You never gave a link for an ASUS monitor so I don't know which one you are talking about

From the top of my head, I would suggest this http://www.asus.com/Commercial_Monitors_Projectors/PB278Q/
