Greetings guys,

so this is my build from a few years ago. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LM3YgL

My monitor is a random 1080p and i wanted to know what should i get since the Black friday is around the corner .
i was thinking a 1440p is a suitable choice but which of them all ?

i'm talking about gaming etc

Solution
Well, the thing about Black Friday is that there are usually sales on things that aren't selling. And 'price reductions' on other things to make them look enticing. What they usually do is go back to the MSRP for a product and 'discount' back to its previous, or a higher price.

So, basically, pick out the monitor you want and can afford, keep an eye on the price during BF, and if it drops, hooray. If not, buy it anyway.

With no budget and no GPU, hard to say what you should pick out. If you are picking out both, a budget would still be necessary. Talking $200-800 range for things like 1440p.

Best all around is likely something like this: G-Sync compatible 144hz IPS panel...

Budget 1080p gaming:

Super budget 75hz 1440p:

Keep in mind that with a slightly older quad core you are going to be limited in GPU choice. Super high frame rates won't be as possible with the fastest GPUs.
But RTX3070 will do for 1440p. RX 6800 perhaps.
If those are out of range. Then consider RTX 2070 Super or RX5700XT
If those are out of range. RTX2060/GTX1660Ti/Super or RX5700/5600XT
