Hi, so recently i bought a new graphics card( Sapphire RX 480 8GB ). The graphics card doesnˇt have a DVI port so i decided to buy an adapter ( Displayport to DVI-d dual link). Now when i plugged everything in my refresh rate caps only at 60hz. i cannot raise it up to 144hz althrough it should go up to 144hz. https://gyazo.com/3877549a45fcad8820669b54fd2c82b0

Yes is correct! Also HDMI 1.4 supports FullHD @ 144Hz. But I personally suggest you DisplayPort as is generally designed for computers :)

I didn't see or know that. Now you can go out and buy one and keep us posted. The manufacturer's site was USELESS as far as which HDMI version their connection was.

Another thing. That cable you're using says 1.1. It should say 1.2. 1.1 is capable of supporting half the bandwidth than the 1.2 version can. Buy the HDMI 2.0 cable and or the 1.2 version of that cable.

I now see Lodocarbo already said that.
