I tried to downsize into a mini ITX build (using a new motherboard and the same CPU). Wouldn't boot. Got some thermal paste on the bottom of the pins, wiped it off with Isopropyl alcohol, moved the CPU back into the original motherboard, now that won't boot. This has turned into a nightmare.
Specifically, the CPU cooler fan and power supply fan turn on, but no signal goes to the screen anymore.
