Hello. I just bought a gtx 1050 ti not too long ago and I have been having issues getting it working with my monitor. I put it in and plugged it into the monitor and nothing displayed so I tried my TV. It worked fine on the tv and I installed the latest drivers and it was working perfectly. Then I plugged it back into my monitor and it didnt work.
I tried simple things like unplugging and replugging power cords and the hdmi cord, and I also tried 2 other hdmi cords (one of them was brand new) and still no luck. Also, I tried resetting bios, taking the card back out and putting it in again, and deleting and reinstalling drivers. I tried buying a new monitor because I needed one anyways but that didnt work either.
So at some point later on, I was using my tv as my monitor because it still worked, and I unplugged the hdmi from the tv and put it into the monitor and it worked. Unfortunately, whenever I restart my computer now, the monitor wont display anything, so I have to turn off the computer, plug it into the tv, turn on the computer, go to the login screen, and then I unplug the hdmi and put it in back my monitor again for it to work. Any ideas why and how to get it so I dont have to do that?
