I have an acer S220HQL LED monitor hooked up to my gtx 1070 (strix edition).

The monitor only has dvi and d-sub inputs(1 of each).

I had a 3 monitor set up for a few months, then one day the above mentioned monitor stopped recieving signal from from my pc.

I have a dvi cable connected to an active display port to dvi adapter (its working, tested on other monitors).

The monitor works if i connect it to the dvi port of the 1070, but not through the adapter. If i do this, it doesnt recieve signal if i connect any other monitors.

Can anyone think if any reason why it suddenly stopped working?

I had no major updates to the os or gpu drivers when it happened, and i had been using 3 monitors for a few months prior.

Specs:
Os: windows 7 64-bit
Ram: 16GB ram
Cpu: Intel core I5-3470
Gpu: Gtx 1070

Cant be, all the gpu's ports work on other monitors, just not a specific one. All the cables/adapters ive tried have worked with other monitors.
