Monitor won't power on through HDMI port.

I checked just about everything, even switched monitors to if it was the graphics card or hdmi cables but no, the other monitor turned on just fine. And it doesn't power on through dvi or vga either. The monitor does work but I just need to turn it on manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My setup:

so the monitor turns on as long as no video cable is connected between the monitor & the computer, correct? take the GeForce videocard out & use the onboard video to see if still have that issue.

The monitor works perfectly fine with any cable connected, it just doesn't power on through them. I don't think is the gaphics card only because I use a PS4 with this monitor and it still won't power on through hdmi.

When I have the ps4 connected through hdmi, once I turn it on, it also turns on the monitor. that is not the case for the pc.

It displays the ps4 and the pc just fine, only that the monitor turns on when I power on the ps4, not with the pc.

Correct. I switched monitors thinking it might've been the gpu, but no. Tried changing hdmi cables, that wasn't it either.
