So I've bought a new pc including monitor and I have a problem that I can't actually solve. I can't get the native resolution (1920x1080) on any game. I have an acer s221 at 21.5 inch and an Radeon 2900 xt. After a bit of work I managed to set the desktop resolution to be the native of my monitor, but none of my games will actually go further than 1600x1200. I've tried everything, there is no option to go beyond 1600x1200 and I think some games don't run because of that. For example, Skyrim I have to play at lower resolution. Same thing with all my games. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I've tried all of those things and as I said, it's a general issue. Rome Total War, Mount & Blade the new crap, Vikings Conquest, Football Manager 2015, Crusader Kings II etc. none of them works at proper resolution. For example, Skyrim will only work at 1360x768.

This new pc I've assembled myself so I think I'm a bit past not ticking the windowed mode box. I really don't know where the problem is.
