Case: Raidmax Trinity
CPU: AMD FX 8350 (Previously the FX 6350)
Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming
GPU: RTX 2060 (previously GTX 750Ti)
PSU: EVGA 650w 80+ Bronze
Ram: DDR3 8gb (2x4) Kingston Hyper X Fury

I just bought my new graphics card today. I installed it correctly and have it hooked up with the PSU and all. For some reason I cannot get anything to show up on the monitor. The new GPU only takes hdmi and some other size plugs, and my monitor supports HDMI VGA and DVI. I always used the DVI with my old GPU but I need to use hdmi now. I too the 2060 back out and put the 750 back in and tested but I could still not get the monitor to work using HDMI. However, when I turn my laptop on I can use the monitor as a second display no problem with the HDMI. The cord is not faulty. What do I do?

When putting the 750ti back in, the monitor no longer detects the DVI cord.
