Monitor wont turn on after overclocking refresh rate

Accidentally put the monitor refresh rate to 120hz but my monitor can only support 60hz and i turn on the pc but it says no signal then the monitor shuts off please help!

Unplug the monitor, leave it for a couple of min and replug it. If it doesn't work, it's borked. Next time do read an actual overclocking monitor guide, going from 60 to 120Hz without knowing nothing is ill advised. At least know beforehand if your monitor model could actual handle the overclock.

He said he did it accidentally, he knew his monitor refresh rate was 60hz. What cable where you using when you accidentally overclocked it, try using another cable like HDMI.

Well you can't "accidentally" because in order to overclock monitor you need to use CRU or NVIDA/AMD equivalent custom resolution.
