Monitor won't turn on (blinks on for a sec and off every 10-15 seconds)

I have an older monitor Viewsonic vp930b and this is what happens:

It started about two weeks ago, but it would turn on after about 10 minutes..now it won't.
What could be the issue here? Has some capacitor gone bad?

you will have to open it since it receive signal could be loose connector inside or as you said a defective capacitor .

Opened it up..I think the two capacitors on the right might be bad

your right they are bubled are you able to replace them yourself or find a tv shop that could replace them . you need the exact replacement for them .

By exact do you mean the same uf and v? or brand too? I can probably do it myself.

same uf and voltage rated the brand if you could but i am not shure there must be oem parts .

I replaced the capacitors, but the ones I bought turned out to be smaller in size than the original. My screen is dim, are the new capacitors the issue here?
