use a flashlight see if the backlight went bad. if there no error blinking on the monitor see if there a hard reset that can be done on the unit. if not if the unit out of warranty google the model and error. see if a cap on one of the boards may have failed. a lot of times some units have bad caps and there are replacment caps and kits to fix units. if it not a cap issue look into the cost of service parts. (power,logic board). see if buying one or the other is less then a new monitor. if the unit under warranty rma it.
