When I plug my monitor into my motherboard, the computer runs displaying everything fine. However, when I try to plug the monitor into the graphics card, the monitor doesn't show anything. The fans on the graphics card are spinning but they just won't work. It is a GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card. There are no inputs to connect the graphics card anywhere else... Help!

Solution
i would suggest to check the gpu on any other machine as it doesn't require any external pci-e psu cable so will be an easy task. Next step you can try is clearing out CMOS and check the results. Good luck :)
Here are couple of things you can try:
1) Update UEFI or BIOS to the latest version of your motherboard.
2) Ensure the GPU is plugged in properly(Clean the pci-e slot, if needed).
3) On your monitor, make sure you have selected right input cable settings.
4) Try the GPU in a different PCIe slot.

1.Tried to install but I don't know what to click within the file.
2.Already checked it is in place.
3.It works on the motherboard and I used the same cable to try the motherboard and GPU so I know this is correct.
4.There is only one PCIe slot in my motherboard.

For BIOS update, download latest BIOS from asus website: http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/H81MD_PLUS/HelpDesk_Download/and put onto a formatted USB stick

Then follow these instructions:

Solution

Dude,
I had exactly the same stupid problem. I tried all the solution that posted on the net but it didn't work. So I come up with new solution, Just reset(Reboot the pc like a new pc). Don't plug in your GPU first, use your motherboard graphics during the reboot, after all is completed then try to plug in ur GPU. Hope it works. this what I did

This problem occurred because of the software in your pc that affect your bios to corrupt. Do it as fast as possible.Just reset.
