Monitor works only for second, beeps and turns off

Hello,

My monitor lg flatron w2246 works only for a second and beeps and i've tested my pc with my old monitor which works perfectly fine so its has nothing to do with PC. I actually think it has something to do with capacitors so i think it might be capacitors... any suggestion guys ?

does the monitor power light turn off too? as the monitor uses a regular power cord then there is 2 boards in that monitor, a video controller & a power board so open up the monitor & check for any domed or leaking capacitors. I've done that a few times including this 24" samsung & my previous 19" frankenstein Samsung monitor.
