Monitor would not check the gpu

Monitor would not detect my gpu I installed all my new parts gpu: asus phoenix 1060 6gb and memory g.skill ripjaw X into my msi 970 once i plugged my hdmi cable nothing popped up. So I put back all my old parts in r7 370 and 1866 stick memory and I still have the same problem I tried switching pci slot but still same outcome.

Does the system actually turn on but no display? Any error beeps? Unplug the power cable, remove CMOS battery, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Replace the battery and see if system turns on then.

The computer turns on fine no error
