just got a HP monitorand cant seem to get it up and running.however when I hook it up to my compaq it comes up fine there is only 3 wires to the hook up power speaker and VGA maybe my graphics card is getting a little tierd

what would cause the monitor to reply no signal could it be the video card?

trying to find out if it is my video card when I hook up to another tower the monitor works fine so what else could be wrong I was told it is the video graphics card I have a GE force 9500 GT pny it has been running for at least 3 to 4 years
