So I just got a new motherboard, graphics card, and processor. I set everything up correctly (and by that I mean I checked a few videos online and I followed everything they said). My computer runs fine and all the fans are spinning but my monitor doesn't detect when I use the HDMI port or VGA port and my mouse/keyboard and mic don't detect with my USB ports with my new motherboard. Although my Blue Yeti mute button lights up like it normally does when I plug it in but my mouse and keyboard don't. I cant see if they work because I cant see with my monitor not detecting anything. Please help, I'm a newbie ;p

Can you post your build, including the monitor, mouse and keyboard, please?

Im wondering if you connected everything correctly, especially the power cables and USB headers. Going from a few videos on youtube doesnt sound reassuring, as we dont know what they are yet. Not necessarily bad mind you, but its missing details we need.

Also maybe post pics of how you are connecting the components that are not working, if possible.

I will post pics of my build and some specs in a few hours, I don't have access to my pc atm.

My new graphics card has an HDMI port and a DVID Dual. When I used the HDMI port it said 'No signal' so I bought a VGA to DVID Dual adapter and it still had no signal.

Will get back with pics soon.

Not the best pics but they should do:

Parts:
Asus M5A99FX Pro 2.0 Motherboard
EVGA GTX 1070 SP Graphics Card
AMD FX 6300 6-Core Processor
Two 8Gb Ram Sticks

UPDATE: Just read the manual and it talked about some LED's that light up around different components that are having errors. I have a red led next to my CPU. The manual didn't say how to fix any of these issues so maybe someone here can help?

Looks like you may have a problem with your RAM (going from the pics and your motherboard manual).

First it looks like you have two different modules installed. Not necessarily bad, but they are obviously not matched so dual channel mode will not work.

Second, you have the two modules installed next to each other, which is not part of the recommended configurations shown in the manual. See Chapter 1, section 1.2.4

You can put the RAM into one of the recommended configs and test. I would even go as far as saying to just try with one module installed in DIMM_A2. This is the second slot from the CPU, not the first. It looks a little wacky, but thats what the manual shows. So long as the RAM meets the compatible specs, you should be able to boot.

I just tried that, didnt fix the issue. The PC is able to boot but the monitors and USB's dont detect. I tested the Monitors/Keyboard/Mouse on another pc and it worked fine. Red light next to "CPU" Text is still occurring

Ok, so the peripherals work on a different machine. So that narrows it down to the motherboard.

Other than the RAM placement that I previously mentioned, it looks like everything ells has been plugged in or wired correctly from what I can tell.

Is it possible to test your video card in another computer as well?

Can you check to see if you have any bent pins on the CPU? This does mean you will have to re-apply thermal paste when you put it back together, so make sure you have some. Also have some isopropyl alcohol or a good degreaser and qtips to clean of the CPU. It does not take a lot of thermal paste to re-apply, so be careful. A couple little beads of it should suffice.

There is the chance you just have a dud motherboard or CPU, though Im leaning toward the motherboard. These things sometimes happen out of the box. If possible you may want to exchange them for replacements.

I checked to see if there were any bent pins this morning and i reapplied thermal paste aswell. I will see if i can call Asus or something later tonight. Thanks for the help. Although my mouse/keyboard are both USB and the motherboard is implying to use the PS/2 Ports. Can i still use USB or do i have to use those ports?
