Monitors keep losing signal

So my son ( for the last week or so) has been coming to me complaining that his monitors keep going off. So finally yesterday i took a look.
And yup they are going off alright. first of all i did check the power setting and that is set to Never turn off.,Also checked the cables and tried all the graphic cards ports. I even tried re plugging in the cables ,and tried using the HDMI cable to the TV.
Nothing works untill i reboot the PC
He has the Asus GTX 750 ti 2GB , with 2 monitors connected (one via DVI and the other via VGA )

His pc specs are :

AMD FX-8320
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 MB
GeIL EVO Veloce Series 8GB RAM
Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card
Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Monitor #1 - Acer P191W
Monitor #2 - HP 2009m


i'm leaning to thinking the graphics card may be faulty....
Hoping someone has any other insights

Hello... Yes, can you try the card in another computer and also try another card in his?
This should give you a chance to see if the problem follows the Video card or stays with his Computer.

That's what the plan was to do,, but if i take the GC from his PC he wont be able to use it as his motherboard doesn't have any VGA /DVI ports..
Also to top it off there isn't a particular time this problem pops up,
might just try that way tonight after he goes to bed.
