Monitors turning solid color and freezing

I recently upgraded to windows 10 on my gaming rig. Ever since, my dual monitors have been turning a solid color and freezing. My drivers all up to date.

MSI GTX 980 4G Zero frozr
16gb ballistic sport ddr3
MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard
Monitors: Asus MX279 via HDMI and Samsung Sync Master via VGA

Any ideas?

Hi,

Please do try doing a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- First, disconnect the other monitor connected to your PC.
- Next is to open Device Manager and uninstall the GTX 980 driver.
- Once done, open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Download and install the latest driver once completely uninstalled.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot your PC after the driver has been installed then test it again.
