After dealing with them once, I think I am going to be careful next time. It seems that their customer service or whatever it is needs an improvement. It took 2 month for them to refund me the money on the monitor. Process started around December 17th when I sent e-mail (also called) to send monitor back, (had white dead pixel right in the center) It took them about 3-4 weeks to issue one and I shipped the same day when I got it. They had the monitor at the Hitachi warehouse on the January 23rd, but I only got my refund on the February 15th, and only because I told them I am getting very frustrated and I need this get taken care today.
Oh and they never adjusted the price on another CML174 (the one I kept) They claimed that they don't adjust prices after the purchase was made.
Anyway, I am not saying monitordirect is a bad company, but they really need to be more customer service oriented. They are pretty quick when it comes to shipping you a product, but they should know that it's more to it, it's the service you provide afterwards.
So, make sure you really want the monitor otherwise you might run into same thing.
P.S. It reminds me of many people having problems with Dell.com, but I've purchased from them before and when I had to exchange or return something they were always quick to issue you RMA and credit the account.
