Monoblock or CPU block for Maximus X Hero for overclocking?

Hello Community,
I am searching the internet whether to go for monoblock or just cpu block for my Maximus X Hero.
Is it worth putting monoblock when cooling vrms as well to have more stable overclock status?
Or is it already good mobo that I wouldn't necessarily need it unless for aesthetic point of view? even for overclocking?

I hope to reach just 5.0ghz. I wished for 5.2 but I gave up on that dream.

Any advice would be helpful !

If you don’t already have issues with VRM over heating you should be fine. Also if the heatsink is big enough and good airflow you should be good

Do you know if Maximus X Hero board already have good heatsink and good temp results?
I better find this out too..

I looked up on it and even on overclock the VRMs have been under 90c. (150c thermal throttle for VRMs) you should be fine. Most of the tests were 8700k’s at 5GHz. Good luck
