Question Monster Hunter World and HDR?

So, I'm playing Monster Hunter World on my PC using an Asus Strix 1080Ti and my Asus PG348Q 3440x1440 display. I checked the resolution and it isn't set to 3440x1440, but can't be changed either. It said that I need to turn on HDR settings to change the res. So, I went to settings in my Windows 10, System and Display but it says under Display Capabilities Stream HDR Video: No. Play HDR games and apps: no. Use WCG apps: no. Does this mean I'm not able to use the res of my monitor for playing Monster Hunter World?

How to Enable HDR in Windows 10

It's only recently that Windows started supporting HDR display technology. You can now enable HDR in Windows 10 and see the improvement in color depth and accuracy.

So I don't know about the HDR capabilities of the monitor, but my Win 10 is fully up to date and I use a DP cable from my GPU so that shouldn't be an issue. As far as the Codecs, I'm not sure if I have those, how to determine if I do, or where to get them if I don't.

Just Googled and installed a Codec Pack from Microsoft for Win10 x64

Not just yet, following the posted guide and making sure of everything. As soon as I know I'll definitely confirm it.

The WDDM 2.5 takes quite a bit of time to download for anyone taking notes.

So, apparently a WDDM 2.4 takes a 6th Gen Processor or above. I have a 5th, so maybe I need to upgrade my CPU.
