More and more confused

After reading the manual on my b350m mortar I’m confused on if I can download windows 10. All guides I’ve come across they are already running another OS and aren’t on a new build like I am with no OS. So how do I go about downloading 10? I can’t use a disk because I don’t have an optical drive. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Windows website.
Find "Create installation media"
Googling above should yield a walk thru, the link escapes me atm.
You put it on a usb drive.
This is how I did it.
Booting with the usb stick in on a clean system will take you in to the " Install Windows".
Install as normal.
