More fps at running games with lower resolution on ACER 28" CB280HK?

ACER 28" CB280HK supports 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Will i get more fps if i decrease the resolution?

Yes if you play at lower resolution you will get more FPS.

you shouldn't buy such a high res monitor if you're worried about fps. but yes lowering the res will increase your fps.

I have and another option - BENQ BL2710PT which is IPS and supports 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz. If the affair in question is watching movies which one will give me better visualization - IPS panel or higher resolution? And if the question is about gaming which one will give me better visualization - IPS panel or higher fps which i will get at the same resolution 2560 x 1440 (lower for 4k monitor) but on TN panel? I mainly play FIFA 15.
