More players, worse fps and gpu usage

It would help a lot. That CPU has about 65% more processing power. BF4 is well threaded so if you could use close to all of that your FPS might go up 1.5X.

You never drop to 50FPS (in the video at least) and most games have minimal bottleneck with the i5-4460 so only you can decide if the money is worth it.

Depending on your monitor maybe saving up for a nice GSYNC, 2560x1440 IPS 144Hz monitor (Asus is about $750) might be one way to go.

(with GSYNC gaming is smoother, no screen tear so 50FPS experience is a lot better)

I bought a new monitor yesterday :d, and the singleplayer games work great eg, witcher 3, bf4 singleplayer etc etc, but i play alot of multiplayer games with my friends and im gonna bang out bf1 when its released (lol) so i need a good cpu so im pretty sure im buying an i7 4790k. Thanks for the help though!
