More Powerful with 16GB Ram 2666Mhz or 32GB Ram1600Mhz?

Both yes and no could be correct answers depending on multitasking what ... AutoCAD 2D / 3 D for example.... 16 GB 2666.... rendering huge files in Autodesk 3D max, then likely 32 GB most of the time..... using large databases.... 16 GB / using HUGE databases, 32 GB

I discover that Intel I7 4790K who i think is on top 3 of intel actual more powerful processor only support ram until 1600mhz??? I bought an Asus Z97 C board that support until 3000Mhz memories but now i see that I7 4790k only support until 1600mhz? If this processor dont support more than 1600mhz what intel processor support? Is there any superior I7 ?

1600 is the suggested data rate for Intel Haswell CPUs, it's their 'limit', Some non-K Haswell CPUs can easily handle 1866 and even 2133 . It generally will OC the MC (memory controller) a bit to do so, the K model CPUs can handle even higher data rates - I run 2666 on one of mine and 2800 DRAM on the other (in sig), generally at worse it may take a slight CPU OC and possibly a little extra voltage to the MC (all of which is perfectly safe)

Its easy to put 4790k working with 2666mhz memory? Thanks
